May MCWC Update

Hello, here is what you need to KNOW | PRAY | GIVE | GO for MCWC this month:

KNOW

• MCWC continues to educate and spread the word about the abortion reversal pill. Staff and volunteers continue to educate through social media and Google ads and reach women through a 24/7 national hotline.

• The Haslet location is coming along!
  This location is set to open this summer in June!
  In March, staff and volunteers came out to the building site to pray over and write scriptures on the wall. They had pictures in each of the rooms to show what is to come. MCWC Haslet will have a big lobby area with a playroom for young children, several counseling and exam rooms, a boutique for baby clothes and items, a nurse's station and a staff conference room.

• The Mobile Clinic continues to run and is a great resource to reach those in need who may not be close to the Euless location.
  The Mobile Clinic is open Monday's 10am-4pm, Wednesday's 10am-2pm, and Fridays='s 10am-4pm.
  Women who need services from the Mobile Clinic can either: 1. Call 817-442-6147 2. Text 817-512-8572 3. Fill out the contact form to schedule an appointment on MCWC's website.

• To reach even more women, MWCW now offers Telehealth visits where women can discuss their options with a licensed medical professional. Women can call or text to schedule, or clarify they prefer a "telehealth" visit through the MCWC website contact form.

PRAY

• Continue to pray that marketing ads for the abortion reversal pill are reaching women who are expecting and that they come to MCWC for services.

• Pray for the expecting women to have a good support system during their pregnancy and beyond, including the expecting fathers.

• Continue to pray for the Haslet location and that this site will be able to reach women in North Ft Worth and Wise counties.

GIVE

• The boutique can use a lot of love to further support expecting mothers and fathers, lessening the financial burden of baby items.
  -New or gently used baby clothes and baby gear (toys, bouncers, carriers, strollers, swings, cribs, etc.)
  -Diapers and wipes
  -Essentials including formula, breast pumps, infant Tylenol, pacifiers, diaper cream, bottles, etc.

GO

• Volunteers can give their time to the national hotline, volunteer to counsel expecting fathers and mothers, and volunteer in the boutique.
  

• MCWC has also been working on collaborating with churches to provide baby showers for expecting mothers.
